Lofoten is an archipelago in Norway, with the most beautiful landscapes. It’s well-known for hiking, climbing, fishing, kayaking, skiing, Arctic surfing (summer/winter), and cycling. It’s also well-known for its crazy weather... Just arrived at Hadseløya, the last island of the archipelago Vesterålen, the nearest to the Lofoten, and I already was experiencing it. I finally stopped counting the downpours i got.
The funny thing about this island, is that my route follow the west coast. It is the longest side to reach Melbu where I have to catch the ferry to Lofoten. I decided to keep following it even if i ran in to the bad weather. And you know what, I didn't regret my choice. After a while, weather turned into sunny. I just have had enough time to enjoy the landscapes that the rain was back.
This was my day, riding under the rain, drying under the sun, and repeat.
I arrived finally at a camping where I got on well with an employee. He proposed me a tour in canoe and here I am paddling.
Conclusion, there are always good things in a day.
